Careline wins Identity and Passport Service Business Helpline contract

As the National Identity Service begins its roll out, enrolment will soon be possible in selected locations beginning with the Greater Manchester area and extending soon after to other locations in the North West of England (early 2010).

To support the rollout the Identity and Passport Service (IPS) has unveiled a marketing campaign to raise awareness and promote the scheme to businesses, ahead of a forthcoming consumer campaign. The first wave of activity aims to build recognition among those businesses that will be regularly presented with cards by consumers.

Careline has been selected by IPS from the Central Office of Information agency roster to provide a Helpline for businesses seeking further information about the service and how it will effect them. A trained team of advisors will answer questions from businesses about the introduction of the card. Careline will also be responsible for sending out information packs requested online and via the telephone.
